Tatham Life Saving Station & Museum

Located on the second floor of the station is a military museum that is home to a variety of artifacts from World War I, World War II, and other conflicts of our nation's past. Some of the memorabilia include the lifesaving surf boat, steering oars, historic photos and wall panels describing in detail the various aspects of life saving operations. All of the murals in the building honor our fallen soldiers and were created by artist and member James J. Thompson. The museum is open for tours from Flag Day through Labor Day, Thursday through Saturday and Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The building is also open Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
